Unifying Data with Omni-Channel Marketing Automation

How we built a unified data warehouse, implemented a national CDP, and automated omni-channel marketing for hundreds of home service brands.

Company Background

Our client operates a vast network of regional home service providers and needed a solution to their fragmented data and decentralized marketing. Without a sophisticated way to surgically target their audience, their outreach remained generalized and not as effective as it could be. 

Another challenge was executing national campaigns, which required manually building communications on a brand-by-brand basis. This was a labor-intensive process that routinely took multiple team members several days to complete.
To modernize their infrastructure, our client partnered with us to do the following:
  • Design and integrate their customer and lead data architecture
  • Establish a centralized data warehouse for these contacts
  • Construct a robust Customer Data Platform (CDP) for omni-channel marketing
We also leveraged AI for data-driven insights and rapid campaign assembly. This enabled highly targeted omni-channel outreach spanning email, direct mail, SMS, and syndicated PPC. This highly personalized messaging is fueled by rich attributes like enriched home information, demographics, and customer service history. 

This engagement also involved creation of custom systems and processes that streamlined how local and regional branches route marketing promotions to the national CRM team. Combined with dynamic templates that automatically localize customer branding, this unified approach transformed multi-day, multi-person workflows into single-hour tasks, unlocking massive operational efficiency.

THE RESULT:

We transformed the client’s operations from a manual, resource-heavy operation into a centralized, automated powerhouse. This upgraded infrastructure significantly outperformed their previous direct messaging tool in both average open and total click-through rates and many other KPI’s by focusing on three core areas:

  • Dynamic Personalization: We engineered a system where a single master email template automatically populates localized branding for over 200 distinct branches, saving thousands of hours while tailoring offers to each customer's specific job history.

  • Rigorous Optimization: By pairing advanced audience segmentation with domain reputation management and continuous A/B testing, we delivered a massive lift in overall engagement.

  • Continuous Feedback Loops: Rather than relying on static campaigns, we built an engine that constantly injects hundreds of data-driven learnings— from optimal multi-offer combinations to behavioral triggers — directly back into their omni-channel flows.

Engineered and currently maintain a centralized data warehouse, seamlessly integrating cleansed, consolidated data into Blueshift to power a dynamic, national-level marketing engine for hundreds of distinct brands.

Created an automated, localized alert system that triggers targeted campaigns based on real-time weather shifts (heatwaves, freezes, and rainfall). This proactive approach positioned local brands as trusted home service partners, directly correlating with increased open rates, higher engagement, and a measurable lift in trade-specific sales.

Dynamic Localized Offer Management

Built a scalable, user-friendly portal for local brand managers to submit monthly promotional requests, automatically syncing those generated coupons directly through the central data warehouse and into the CDP for immediate deployment.
